Hotel San Michele is located inside of one of the oldest buildings of Cortona, the ancient Baldelli Palace, strategically located right in the heart of town.
The Baldelli Palace is a 15th-century mansion restored according to its original features and considered by various guides a true example of Cortonas architectural splendour.
The Italian Ministry of Art, declared the building hosting Hotel San Michele part of the National Heritage. Just 100 metres away you will find the SantAgostino Conference Centre.
The hotel offers 40 unique and individually furnished rooms, each one featuring ancient furniture and equipped with modern services and comforts. The rooms have wooden beams and the windows offer views of the rooftops and the views over the valley.
A buffet-style breakfast is available daily. Guests can also find an on-site bar.
San Michele is the only hotel in the centre of Cortona to have a private car park. If travelling by car enter the city gate in Via Guelfa, transit is allowed for hotel customers 24 hours a day.
